Job Role

We are seeking an experienced accountant, ideally used to reporting at Board level, as the lead for financial analysis, corporate compliance, and governance.

You will have strong leadership skills and professional curiosity to support our programme of service improvements ensuring you can support and deputise for the Managing Director.

Our services are predominantly people-based, operational delivery, so a flexible approach to the working environment is essential with effective communication skills to articulate clear messages across a wide audience range.

The successful candidate will have an interesting mix of projects to lead, including; ‘master planning’ depot facilities to ensure operational effectiveness is maintained whilst improving carbon footprint, overseeing the vehicle replacement programme [for c.130 vehicles] and active involvement in a range of waste and recycling initiatives requiring project management skills, financial scrutiny, and management of risk.

Benefits

Salary

£75,000 – £90,000 per annum.

Progression through the salary scale is subject to annual performance appraisal and normally paid in £3,000 increases.

Postholders are eligible for the Peoples Pension scheme.
