Waste Collection Loader (operative)
Salary: Grade 1, £12.71 per hour, plus the living wage supplement
- Enveco NW is currently hiring Refuse Loaders/Waste Collectors in Blackpool for an immediate start on a temporary, ongoing basis. Whilst experience is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided.
- Qualities/Skills: Operational skills: Must hold valid license for work if applicable. Trained in internal Enveco procedures. Able to work as part of a team. Familiar with contract specification. Health and Safety: Must carry out all duties in accordance with the company health and safety policy. Must follow the correct procedure when identifying risks to health and safety. Must report all accidents and near misses without fail. Must wear all personal protection equipment issued for the task at hand.
Casual Household Waste Recycling Centre Operative Job Vacancy
Salary: £13.45 per hour
- An opportunity has arisen with Enveco NW for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to use a range of skills. To actively participate in all operations involving the receipt, separation for recycling and disposal of waste delivered to the Household Waste Recycling Centre.
- Essential skills: • Good customer service skills • Strong communication skills • Ability to be flexible, including working weekends • Knowledge of Health and safety and an awareness of this at all times on site • Experience of working in a team • To be able to work unsupervised and use initiative • Weekend working is a requirement
HGV driver/loader (Domestic)
Salary: £29,982 per annum
- Enveco is looking for a suitable and reliable person to join our team as a HGV Driver.
- Essential skills: • Full UK Heavy Goods Vehicle License • Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) within 6 months • Considerable knowledge of road use regulations for driving activities • Considerable experience of driving vehicles over 3.5 tonne • Experience of HGV driving over 7.5 tonne • Ability to deal with customers in a polite and friendly manner • Ability to lift and carry on a frequent and repetitive basis and walk considerable distances • Good communication skills • Basic literacy and numeracy skills • Ability to undertake duties in a physical role • Experience in multi drop collections and deliveries • Experience in being able to carry out physical tasks related e.g. Emptying litter bins, removal of accumulated refuse and litter, removal of bulky waste, and clearance of storm debris
