Let’s Break Down The Dos And Don’ts

Do

  • Sign up to regular collections with an appropriately sized bin for your needs
  • Enquire about our commercial waste services
  • Ensure you receive a waste transfer note, to show any parties that may ask where you rubbish goes
  • For bigger items such as white goods, furniture and electronics etc., please contact us for a Neat Inspection and quote, to see what items we can remove for you

Don’t

  • Don’t go to the HWRC (Household Waste Recycling Centre) to dispose of any waste even waste from your living quarters if your address is your commercial business 
  • Don’t put the incorrect items in your bin, such as wood, carpets, metal, and rubble, please contact us for a Neat Inspection and quote, to see what items we can remove for you

What Commercial Waste Do We Collect?

Depending on your needs, Enveco offer the below three types of waste collections:  

General Waste Containers

Our container sizes range from 240 litres up to 1280 litres and are for non-recyclable waste such as: 

  • Food waste
  • Juice cartons
  • Wrapping paper or card with foil
  • Wallpaper
  • Pet waste and cat litter
  • Any plastic such as, carrier bags, fast food packaging such as pizza or burger boxes
  • Polystyrene
  • Plastic toys
  • Any other plastic
  • Tetra style pack

Please do not put any electrical items, paint, asbestos, rubble, soil, plasterboard or any other hazardous waste inside your bin.

Bags of general waste left outside of your container will not be collected and they may be considered litter and you could be issued with a fixed penalty notice.

Recycling Containers

Our Recycling bins sizes are 240 litres and 360 litres and are for recyclable plastic bottles, pots, tubs, trays, glass jars/bottles and tins such as: 

  • Cans  
  • Food tins (bean tins, biscuit tins) 
  • Aluminium foil 
  • Foil trays 
  • Aerosols including deodorant cans and air fresheners  
  • Glass bottles of any colour 
  • Glass jars of any colour  
  • Plastic bottles 
  • Solid lids on pots tubs and trays 
  • Pots (yogurt, soup) 
  • Tubs (food, margarine, ice cream) 
  • Trays/punnets (raw meat or ham trays, take-away trays, fruit /veg trays) – please remove any plastic film 
  • Chocolate and biscuit tubs and trays 
  • Other clear plastic packaging 
  • Plant pots – please remove plants and soil 

Cardboard Container

Our Cardboard / Paper bin sizes are 240 liters up to 1280 liters and are for cardboard and paper waste such as:  

  • Brochures and catalogues (Recyclable card and paper only- without coating)  
  • Cardboard packaging e.g. shoe boxes, egg boxes, appliance packaging – Large boxes need to be broken down and folded so we can collect them. Please remove any polystyrene and sellotape 
  • Directories e.g. Yellow Pages 
  • Envelopes, any colour and windowed 
  • Greeting cards 
  • Junk mail 
  • Newspapers and magazines (Recyclable card and paper only- without coating) 
  • Office paper
