About Blackpool in Bloom
Blackpool in Bloom is an annual competition celebrating the residents, businesses, schools and community groups helping make Blackpool greener, brighter and more welcoming.
From colourful front gardens and hanging baskets to community spaces, conservation projects and parks, the competition recognises the people who take pride in where they live and work.
Organised by Enveco NW in partnership with Blackpool Council, Blackpool in Bloom continues to grow each year, inspiring more people to get involved and helping create a cleaner, greener Blackpool.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or entering for the very first time, everyone is welcome.
Taking part is a great way to:

How It Works
Step 1 – Enter
Applications usually open in the spring each year.
Step 2 – Judging
Our volunteer judges visit each entry and assess them against the competition criteria.
Step 3 – Awards
Entrants are invited to our annual awards ceremony to celebrate their achievements.
