Waste Amnesty

As part of Blackpool Council’s recycling scheme, Enveco will be delivering targeted Community Waste Amnesty events across selected areas of Blackpool.

These events will run for two hours and allow residents to dispose of unwanted household items responsibly and conveniently within their local area.

Areas are targeted within the ward to help reduce fly-tipping. You will hear about these events through your local ward council and lamppost signage.

Residents can bring unwanted household items to the designated location stated below.

  • The current waste amnesty is: Today, Tuesday, 19th May 2026, 9:30am to 11:30am and is located at Lyndsay Avenue, Junction Aldwych Avenue.

  • The next waste amnesty is on Thursday, 21st 2026, 3.15pm to 5.15pm and is located at Maitland Avenue.

Please do not leave waste at the location before the Enveco vehicle arrives, as this will be considered fly-tipping. Commercial waste, building materials, garden waste and asbestos will not be accepted, just household items. This service is different to the ward amnesty.
