Eight Green Flag Awards for Blackpool's Parks
Blackpool is celebrating a record-breaking achievement after eight parks were recognised with the prestigious Green Flag Award, the international benchmark for well-managed parks and green spaces.
The awards recognise the dedication and hard work of Enveco NW’s Grounds Maintenance teams, alongside Blackpool Council, Friends Groups and volunteers, who work throughout the year to keep Blackpool’s parks clean, safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
This year’s success marks Blackpool’s highest number of Green Flag Awards to date, with one park receiving the award for the very first time and seven others successfully retaining their status.
