Have Your Say

Have Your Say on Blackpool's Alley Gate Scheme

Blackpool Council is inviting residents and businesses to share their views on the future of the Alley Gate Scheme Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs).

The Alley Gate Scheme was introduced in parts of Blackpool to help tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in areas with gated alleyways. The scheme forms part of wider efforts to create safer, cleaner and more welcoming neighbourhoods for residents.

If you live in or operate a property with access to an alley gate covered by the Alley Gate Scheme PSPO, Blackpool Council would like to hear your views on whether the current arrangements should remain in place or be reviewed.

The survey asks residents and businesses whether they would like the Alley Gate Scheme PSPO to be renewed, or whether they feel the arrangements for their gated alley should be reconsidered.

If you believe the scheme in your area should be reviewed, Blackpool Council encourages residents to discuss this with other households that use the alleyway so that any shared views can be considered as part of the consultation process.

Your feedback will help inform future decisions regarding the Alley Gate Scheme across Blackpool.
