Who is responsible for your data?
Blackpool Waste Services trading as Enveco NW is a wholly owned company of Blackpool Council. We have a data-sharing agreement between the client and contractor.
Why do we collect your information?
Information is collected and processed in relation to parks, grounds and open space maintenance. The following are elements within the overall heading of parks, grounds and open space maintenance:
- Consultation/technical advice
- Tree work- hedge cutting
- Supplier of woodchip and logs
- Maintenance of sports pitches, playgrounds, ecological sites, all weather play services and highway verges
We will keep your details for the period we provide the service of parks, grounds and open space maintenance on your behalf and delete the data within 6 years.
What is our lawful basis?
The UK GDPR Article 6 lawful basis for Enveco to collect and use your personal information is because:
- Article 6(e) – Public Task – It is necessary to perform a task in the public interest or whilst conducting its official functions, and the task or function has a clear basis in law.
The duty has a clear basis in law, as set out in The Environmental Protection Act 1990 and its associated regulations, which place a legal obligation to provide parks, grounds and open space maintenance.
